The Hop
Once the left foot is planted parallel with the top of the circle the left knee needs to bend in order to power the body forward and allow the right foot to land in front of the ball. It is very important that the left knee bends and straightens in order for the right foot to land in front of the ball and gain the required distance.
See the left knee bend in order for the leg to straighten and propel the body forward.
Notice the right foot as it leaves the ground. The angle is already there for the right foot to cross in front of the left foot.
Notice the left leg now extended and the right foot making its cross in front of the left leg. Also pay attention to the head down.
See the whole body and feet now completely airborne. See the left foot begining to come round so the feet land in a straight line.
