A Typical Training Program
This is an example of a training program used for repetition and training of the dragflick.
Day/Time Morning Afternoon Evening
Monday 200 Flicks – 50 Top Right, 50 Top Left, 50 Bottom Right, 50 Bottom Left (Videoed) Coach to Analyze and keep video that will teach something for evening session Video Session for 1 hour – Analysis of morning session
Tuesday 100 Flicks – 50 Outside Left Post, 50 Outside Right Post – For deflections (Videoed) Work in Gym with weighted stick. Work on follow through and getting low. Video Session for 1 hour – Analysis of morning session with deflectors & Flicker.
Wednesday 200 Flicks – 50 Top Right, 50 Top Left, 50 Bottom Right, 50 Bottom Left (Videoed) Coach to Analyze and keep video that will teach something for evening session Video Session for 1 hour – Analysis of morning session
Thursday Off Off Off
Friday 50 Flicks with corner unit against live defense. Work on breakdown options etc. Coach to Analyze and keep video that will teach something for evening session. Video session with entire corner unit. ½ hour session going through options.
Saturday 200 Flicks – 50 Top Right, 50 Top Left, 50 Bottom Right, 50 Bottom Left (Videoed) Work in Gym with weighted stick. Work on follow through and getting low. Off

Monday 100 Flicks with corner unit. Practice breakdown options, ball stopped in wrong place etc. Video session with corner unit studying opposing teams goalkeepers & Defense unit 200 Flicks – 50 Top Right, 50 Top Left, 50 Bottom Right, 50 Bottom Left (Videoed)
Tuesday 100 Flicks – 50 Outside Left Post, 50 Outside Right Post – For deflections (Videoed) Off Video Session for 1 hour – Analysis of morning session with deflectors & Flicker.
Wednesday 100 Flicks with corner unit. Practice breakdown options, ball stopped in wrong place etc Video session with corner unit studying opposing teams goalkeepers & Defense unit 200 Flicks – 50 Top Right, 50 Top Left, 50 Bottom Right, 50 Bottom Left (Videoed)
Thursday 100 Flicks – 50 Outside Left Post, 50 Outside Right Post – For deflections (Videoed) Off Video Session for 1 hour – Analysis of morning session with deflectors & Flicker.
Friday 100 Flicks with corner unit. Practice breakdown options, ball stopped in wrong place etc. Video session of weeks flicks. Only watch what is USEFUL!! 200 Flicks – 50 Top Right, 50 Top Left, 50 Bottom Right, 50 Bottom Left (Videoed)
